Mr Ape had been busy baking while I was out at a hen night last night. So we set off armed with a dense chocolate cake. Despite the bright sunshine, there was a determined chill in the air to embrace us this morning. Another healthy turnout (47 peeps) for the Sunday morning races. I love the mixture of ages and abilities that participate and the sense of community that goes with it. The handicappers are finding it difficult with such a large field, but as everyone cheers you on if you are a bit behind everyone else, and no-one gets out until the last person has finished. Mr Ape came in second with Cyril the proud winner (well he is in his 90’s.) The chocolate cake was fully appreciated by many. I did a few more experiments with the underwater camera to try and got some “floating leaf” shots.
