Cloudy, cool air and water down to 9 degrees C. A bit of a contrast. Woke up, after a long kip, with my shoulder aching more than before and an upset stomach. But I was not to be defeated. Took a while to get in, but managed a few strokes before I realised that my right arm has no power in it and feels numb. Persevered on for 200 yards, but realise that I need physio and some stroke analysis, as something is not right. Kate meanwhile ploughed on and did 1400 yards.
