Down in time to help judge the placings in the races. I rarely do them, as I’m so out of puff I can hardly swim afterwards. Great to see the handicap system in work – people come in so close – but a hard one to judge the placings. Despite the brooding skies and very cold water, there are still over 30 people competing. Played games, chatted endlessly, shared cake and cleaned up the cafe with Longpela once everyone had gone.
