rubber, brownies, races and chatter

26/05/2013 by Carl Reynolds

Another Sunday morning at the SLSC. It starts in the car park…’oh hi Steve, hi Sangeeta’…continues in the pool – Alison C is back for a week or two – diverts to monologue in the pool (I ain’t talking to no fishes) and continues in the run up to the race and the unfolding goodbyes (it takes at least 30 minutes to leave the lido from the moment you decide to). Those that need some thermal insulation now mixing with those that don’t. Salted caramel fudge brownies shared around; coffee was drunk and Richard Chatterjee wins the race.

Ape – 2000 yards and the 100 yard race; Mrs Ape – 1400 yards. 11C in the water.
