one of those days

Charlton Lido

Forgot the watch. Dived in and had a google failure. Stoke felt wrong for most of the swim. Got thwacked in the face by returning lane swimmer who wasn’t looking. She was most apologetic, but. It was one of those days when you feel discombobulated. Nothing flows, the body feels wrong, the mind is detached. Still it was a pleasure to swim in the steam and sunshine of Charlton Lido. Thankfully I don’t come off the motorbike on the way home.

Early night for you Aquatic. Good news you returned home safely. Thanks for discombobulated, great new word for a Friday.

  2. I had one of those days too

    • Mine got better with some great feedback on a piece of work, a lovely Turkish lunch and a selection of Italian cold cuts for supper. And Punk IPA is a fine beer!

Some days you’re the windshield, some days you’re the bug. Glad to hear it improved!
