Start Point and around

Mrs Ape, eyeing the weather forecast, decided to take a break from supply teaching. Mr Ape is currently underemployed (offers welcome!). So after prepping a picnic lunch we drove over to Start Point car park for some larks around and about. I’ve been here many times before – it’s one of my favourite swim spots, as it has wildlife, reefs, forests of seaweed and ample clambering opportunities. We saw and interacted with seals, an adder, saw a seagull mob a raptor and marvelled at the profusion of plant life in and out of the water. A restorative from concrete.
